NIRANTHARA

NIRANTHARA is an initiative of SVJS Social Lab, the social arm of SVJS & Associates, Company Secretaries. The word ‘Niranthara’ signifies that ‘which is forever continuous’. As the name suggests, this initiative stands for relentless and perpetual efforts in bringing social fulfillment in the sphere of children’s education and advancement.

Objective

We inhabit a world in which education is the keystone of empowerment. Education is a fundamental right that empowers individuals and societies, freeing them from the vicious cycle of poverty. Nonetheless, it remains a distant dream for many from weaker sections of the society. Niranthara aims at providing comprehensive and inclusive education, skill development and training opportunities to those who have the potential, but lack the means. The initiative focuses on enabling and empowering underprivileged children and those from marginalized communities to realise and achieve their full potential in life. It embraces the power to transform lives and create a brighter, more inclusive future for our society.

Through this initiative, SVJS Social Lab aims to provide access to quality learning, education, skill development and training while at the same time nurturing a culture of empowerment, resilience, and aspiration.

Identifying the beneficiaries and implementation

SVJS & Associates, through its large network of alumni, well-wishers, associates and clients will identify children who have good potential and skill but are fraught with challenges of limited access, inadequate resources, and socio-economic challenges which hinder the progress of their education. They are carefully evaluated through a structured process to understand their academic prowess, areas of interest and inclination among other things which are then aligned with the education options that are available. This also includes streams of vocational training, art education and opportunities for skill development.  After necessary evaluation and analysis, the children are initiated into Niranthara. The children then pursue learning/education in their chosen field in educational institutions/training and skill development facilities identified by SVJS Social Lab for this purpose. Necessary guidance will be offered to those children who are still undecided on their area of choice.

Monitoring and Evaluation

The students so initiated into Niranthara will be monitored and their progress constantly evaluated. Regular assessments will be conducted to measure the impact on educational outcomes, attendance, academic performance, and overall well-being of the beneficiaries. Once they pass through the system, all efforts shall be made to map such students to employment opportunities that match their chosen area of education/skill.  Mentors and trainers will guide them towards the fulfilment of their dreams.  

Appeal

This is an appeal to individuals, organizations and associations who believe in the power of education and are willing to participate in the Niranthara vision by sharing the commitment to social equality. Your encouragement and backing can bring about an infinite change to many who are ready to break away from a life of limited means.  

Support may be offered in the following ways:

• Contribution which will directly fund the education of deserving students including their school fees, cost of books and other supplies by way of Scholarships.
• Mentorship which will help to equip the children with tools to excel academically and professionally.
• Support in organising training and skill development workshops to impart practical skills to the students.

Everybody deserves an opportunity to succeed and participate effectively in the society. Together, we can create a more inclusive and empowered society.

Important to note

SVJS Social Lab is registered under Section 12A Income-tax Act and the donations qualify for exemption under Section 80G of the Act.  It also qualifies as an implementation agency for CSR initiatives of corporates/others.

SVJS Social Lab is not registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) and thus cannot accept contributions from foreign citizens and foreign entities. 

Anonymous donations will not be accepted. Bank account details shall be shared on request from prospective donors / well-wishers.
